কোনখানে কোন গাছ লাগানাে উচিত তা’ জানা থাকলে আমাদের কৃষি কাজের জন্য ভালাে। পরিবেশের ভালােরাখার জন্য। সে কারণে নিচে একটি তালিকা দেয়া হলাে।

$$ রাস্তার পাশে যে গাছ লাগাতে হয় -

মেহগনি, শিশু, মিনজিরি, আকাশমনি, বাবলা, অর্জুন, জারুল, তেঁতুল, বড়ই, রেইনট্রি। যে সব রাস্তায় গাড়ি-ঘােড়া কম চলে সেখানে আম, জাম, কাঁঠালগাছ লাগানো যায় ।

$$সমুদ্র এলাকার কাছাকাছি যে গাছ লাগাতে হয় - --

রেইনট্রি, মান্দার, বাবলা, শিশু, খেজুর, ঝাউ, কড়ই, নারিকেল, সুপারি, বাইন, কাঁকড়া, করনজা, কাঠবাদাম, পুন্যাল, ইপিল-ইপিলগাছ লাগানাে যেতে পারে।

$$ বসতবাড়ির আঙিনায় গাছ লাগানাের কয়েকটি নিয়ম মানতে হয়।

উত্তর-পশ্চিমে উঁচু বড় গাছ ও দক্ষিণ-পূর্ব-দিকে নিচু বা মধ্যম আকারের গাছ লাগাতে হয় ।

এতে করে ঘরে পরিমাণ মতাে সূর্যের আলাে পাওয়া যায়। সেই সাথে আলাে-বাতাস যথাযথভাবে আসা-যাওয়া করতে পারে।

$$বাড়ির পাশে নীচু কর্দমাক্ত এলাকায়, ছােট নালার পাশে যে গাছ লাগাতে হয় -

হিজল, মান্দার, পলাশ, পিটালি, অর্জুন, বহেরা, রেইনট্রি, ছাতিম, কদম, জারুল, জাম, আম, খেজুর, পিতরাজ, কানজল, সােনালু, বরুন, শিশু, জলপাই গাছ লাগাতে পারেন।
